Hello Again.

Cherish your spiritual burdens, because god will converse with you through them and will use you to do his work IF you carry them well. Santa Cruz has been a beautiful challenge that I am grateful for. I've expected so much from an area because I only have six weeks to work with it. Sister Raguilab have been on our knees praying for His help, and our prayers are being answered, slowly yet surely. We had two investigators and seven less active attend church three weeks ago when I got here. Yesterday, we had eight investigators and eight less actives attend. The Lord is hastening His work, and it is a wonderful sight.
Mary Rose Estacio. We were finding last Saturday and ran into a family that told us about a members mom that just got home from the hospital. They pointed us the direction of her house and told us to go visit her. We took the chance and went over. That is when we met Mary Rose. She is 40 years old, her youngest son, Nolan (21) is a member. Mary Rose got VERY sick the week before, she had a 50/50 chance of surviving..she had 50 mL of blood left in her body. Members from the Santa Cruz Branch donated blood to her which saved her life. Mary Rose has been prepared for the gospel through this simple act of service by the members. We extended a baptismal goal date to her at our first lesson with her, she said yes. She came to church yesterday.
Bing is still doing well. We had a great family home evening with her family on Monday. Although her husband was very shy he joined in. He didn't however come to church yesterday, there is still more work to be done.
If you remember Tom Purgatorio (the 16 year old from Mandama, our golden investigator that reads the BOM daily, is super smart, and best friends with all the youth) well he was baptized last Saturday. Oh Happy Day! Luzviminda, Nora, and her family are all being prepared to be baptized this upcoming Saturday! (The other family from Mandama that sister Lim and I were working with). Such happy news :)
On a funny note, I have been told by all sorts of children and now adults that I look like the Mother Mary saint statue in the Catholic church..haha..some of the little kids start shouting "mama mary!!" when I walk by..one of our branch missionaries made me put a towel around my face to pretend to be her and was dying of joy saying we look like twins..awesome haha.
Happy week. Happy mission. Not much else is going on. Typical mission life. Enjoying my last few weeks, going all out. :)
